Art deco vase from the Argenta line designed by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg in the 1930s. Green ceramic with silver decoration. The Argenta series is very typical of the Swedish Grace style that was popular in Sweden in the 1920s and 1930s and took inspiration from earlier periods but with a modern twist. The line was introduced at the Stockholm exhibition in 1930. Marked at the bottom: "Hand drejad (meaning Hand thrown), Argenta, Gustavsberg, Kåge". Very good condition with almost no ware at all.
